I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite parts of vacations is getting memorable pictures. When it comes to visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, there are so many magical photo spot locations that you do not want to miss out on!

So I’ve put together a list of my top 20 photo spots at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, including the most iconic ones like Hogwarts Castle and the Hogwarts Express as well as lesser known one like special feature walls in Dragon Alley! Whether you’re wanting vacation pictures or pics for Instagram, these Wizarding World of Harry Potter picture spots are perfect for your next trip to Universal Studios!

1. Hogwarts Castle

Of course the first photo spot at the Wizarding World has to be the Hogwarts Castle! My favorite place to take a picture with Hogwarts is on the bridge. Not only is this a great photo spot because of the view of the castle, but it’s also one of the few places to get a photo without people in the background.

2. Inside Honeydukes

Not only is Honeydukes a great place for Wizarding World sweets, but inside Honeydukes makes for the cutest Instagram pictures. It’s filled with bright colors and tons of Harry Potter themed treats that make for the cutest photos!

3. Outside of Honeydukes

While at Honeydukes, be sure to take a picture outside of the shop. You’ll get the beautiful Honeydukes sign in the photo as well as the pretty green windows. Honeydukes is easily one of my favorite photo spots at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and I make sure to take pictures there on every trip.

4. Behind the Three Broomsticks

This is one of my favorite hidden photo spots at the Wizarding World! It has such a great view of the Hogwarts castle nestled behind the beautiful green trees. You can find this photo op behind the Three Broomsticks restaurant.

5. Hogwarts Express Train

All aboard the Hogwarts Express! A picture with the Hogwarts Express trains should be at the top of your Wizarding World photo lists. There are two trains at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This one is the stationary train that’s locating inside Hogsmeade, and the other is the one at Kings Cross Station that transports you from Hogsmeade to Diagon Alley.

6. The Knight Bus

The Knight Bus is by far one of the coolest and most colorful things to see at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Not only is the bus itself amazing, but you actually get to talk with the Knight Bus Conductor and the Shrunken Head. It always makes for such a fun Harry Potter picture and experience!

7. Dark Mark Wall

You don’t have to be on the dark side to take a cute picture with the Dark Mark Wall at Diagon Alley! This Wizarding World photo spot is in Diagon Alley outside of Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes shop and features so many beautiful colors.

8. Sugarplum’s Sweetshop

One of the most colorful Instagram spots at Harry Potter World is at Sugarplum’s Sweetshop. The windows are a beautiful pink with yummy treats seen inside. You’ll find this photo spot in Diagon Alley.

9. Butterbeer Cart

Nothing is more magical than Butterbeer at the Wizarding World! It’s by far my fave treat! If you’re looking for cute photo ops at the Wizarding World at Universal, you have to take a picture with the Butterbeer cart. Be sure to have a Butterbeer in hand for extra fun!

10. Alley Behind Honeydukes

The alley behind Honeydukes is one of my favorite secret photo spot locations at the Wizarding World because it’s so secluded. This is not only a cute place for pictures, but it’s also a great way to escape the crowds. This Honeydukes window features many adorable Wizarding World treats and is the perfect Instagrammable location.

11. Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes Window

The most colorful spot in all of the Wizarding World is definitely Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes shop! While the inside is crowded with dark lighting, this outside window makes for an adorable Wizarding World photo spot!

13. Knockturn Alley

For those brave witches and wizards, you can take a stroll down Knockturn Alley! You’ll find this Knockturn Alley sign in Diagon Alley. Such a cute photo spot for the mischievous witches and wizards!

15. Wiseacres Astronomy Ceiling

This beautiful astronomy ceiling is found in Wiseacres shop at Diagon Alley. This is such a unique and magical Wizarding World photo spot! The blues and golds are absolutely gorgeous.

16. Fountain of Fair Fortune Wall

The walls inside of Diagon Alley have so many beautiful murals and photo spots. This Fountain of Fair Fortune mural is by far one of my favorites because I love the Tales of Beedle the Bard. You can find this photo spot across from Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes.

17. Dragon on Gringott’s Bank

By far the most iconic part of Diagon Alley is the fire-breathing dragon on top of Gringott’s Bank. Be sure to get a picture with the dragon on your next trip to the Wizarding World! To get a picture that is less crowded, be sure to visit early in the morning.

18. Gregorovitch Wand Shop

Gregorovitch Wand Shop is another great and secluded photo spot at the Wizarding World. Located in Diagon Alley, this storefront is nestled away from the crowd and makes for magical pictures. The beautiful purple color makes any photo pop!

19. Picture with the Frog Choir

The Frog Choir is such a fun performance in Hogsmeade. They sing songs from the Wizarding World and are accompanied by singing frogs. At the end of the performance, you can take a picture with the Frog Choir.
