Meeting the Avengers at Disney California Adventure

One of my favorite things to do at Disney California Adventure park is the Marvel superhero meet and greets. You can take pictures with and hang out with some of your favorite Avengers! It a superhero fan’s dream come true!

I just visited Disney California Adventure and wanted to share my pictures from the Avengers meet and greets. It always changes which Avengers are available, but these were the ones I was able to meet on my last trip. Avengers Assemble!

Dora Milaje

Black Panther is by far one of my favorite Avengers movies, and I was so happy to see Black Panther character meet and greets at Disney California Adventure. The Dora Milaje were always super intimidating in the movie, and they were just as intimidating in person. I took a quick picture with them and then ran away quickly. I may look cool and collected in the picture, but on the inside I was freaking out. Fake it til you make it, people. lol

Black Panther

Speaking of the Black Panther, I was able to meet the king of Wakanda and it was absolutely amazing. We chatted about my shield that I was carrying, and he asked if it was made of vibranium. He also had some awesome warrior poses for us to do. It was such a fun meet and greet, and I’m definitely looking forward to the next Black Panther movie. Wakanda Forever!

Captain Marvel

The next meet and greet is with one of the newest Avengers, Captain Marvel. Disney California Adventure went all out with the premiere of Captain Marvel’s meet and greet. They built an entire plane for her photo spot location, and it was epic! I felt so much girl power going on in our photos. You should definitely try to get a photo op with Captain Marvel on your next trip to Disney California Adventure.

Hawkeye and Black Widow

The next Avengers meet and greet was with the dynamic duo: Black Widow and Hawkeye. I’ve always loved their friendship in the movies. So I was happy to see that they were doing a photo op together. Meeting them was so much fun. Black Widow recommended I practice my combat skills, and Hawkeye said I could use my purse as a target. The conversations are always the most fun parts of these Avengers meet and greets!

Captain America

I’ve saved the best for last with my man, Captain America. The original Avenger is also my favorite Avenger. Captain America has such a cool photo op spot at Disney California Adventure. The giant shield background makes for bright and colorful pictures. Captain America is just as charming in person as he is in the movies, and is completely swoon-worthy. The Captain America meet and greet should definitely be at the top of your list!

There were a few other Avenger characters available for meet and greets at Disney California Adventure, but I was unable to see all of them. Spider-Man, Thor, and Loki were all there, but the wait times can be up to 30 mins for each character so you may have to select only your favorites to meet. The Avengers meet and greets are definitely worth it, though, for superhero fans.

My biggest tip for meeting the Avengers is to either go early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Avoid mid day because the sun is directly overhead which makes for unflattering pictures as well as being super hot while waiting in line.

But now let’s talk about what to wear to the Avengers meet and greets! I’m completely obsessed with this superhero outfit. It was a cute and comfortable outfit that all of the Avengers loved. So let’s check it out!

Super Hero Crew Shirt- Glitter Ever After

This superhero shirt is a must have item for any Avengers fan. I seriously freaked out when I saw this design. Not only is the glitter font so pretty, but it also features the symbols of our favorite Avengers. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, and Black Panther are all represented on this shirt, and my Marvel-loving heart can’t handle how amazing it is! This shirt isn’t only wearable at Disney or Universal, but it’s also a great everyday shirt to show your love for superheroes. It’s one of my favorite shirts of all time, and I highly recommend purchasing it from Glitter Ever After.

Skater Skirt- Amazon

If you know me, you know one of my favorite outfit combos is a t-shirt and skirt. So of course I decided to wear a classic black skater skirt. If you haven’t jumped on the skirt bandwagon, you definitely should. What I love most about solid colored skater skirts is how easy they are to pair with Disney t-shirt and take an outfit to the next level. Not to mention during super hot park days skirts are so comfortable to wear!

This Captain America bag is def a fun addition to any outfit.
