Best Drinks at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for checking out my very first blog post! I just got back from my first trip to the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, and it was a BLAST! Epcot Flower and Garden Festival features so many fun things, from the beautiful topiaries to all of the amazing food and beverage booths.

When I think about all of the fun topics I could talk about for my first post, there was obviously a clear winner… the DRINKS!! One of my favorite parts of Epcot’s many festivals is finding the best (alcoholic) drinks! The drinks are SO expensive, that it’s very important for me to find the best ones to try. Here are my rankings and reviews of all the alcoholic drinks I tried from the Flower and Garden Festival 2018! I hope this helps you find the perfect drinks for your next trip!

5. Twinings Green Tea Berry Mint Julep

-The Berry Basket– $8.75

This refreshing, frozen drink is one of the best values at the festival with its size! The berry and bourbon mixture is perfect for those who are looking for a strong drink, especially on a hot day! The reason the Berry Mint Julep is last on my list is that I prefer sweeter drinks, and this one ended up being more tart. Still a very good drink though!

4. Fiesta Margarita

-Choza de Margarita- $9.75

The Fiesta Margarita is located at a permanent booth, the Choza de Margarita, which means you can try it whenever you want! What’s special about the Fiesta Margarita is that it’s a mixture of their 3 frozen margarita flavors: Lime, Strawberry, and Mango! While I did enjoy this sweet drink, I prefer my margaritas to be stronger. To be honest, I couldn’t taste any tequila in it. So if you’re like me and like to taste the tequila in your margs, I would skip this one. However, the Fiesta Margarita tends to be other people’s fave & I must say that I would still recommend it as long as you aren’t expecting it to be a strong drink.

3. Frozen Lemonade with Firefly Blackberry Moonshine

-The Smokehouse Barbecue and Brews– $11.75

Next up is the Lemonade with Blackberry Moonshine! I was so excited to try this drink because I’ve never had moonshine before, and it just sounded so intriguing! This was one of the smaller drinks of the day, so keep that in mind if you try it. Overall, I really enjoyed the refreshingly sweet flavor of the drink, and it surprisingly wasn’t tart despite the blackberry and lemonade. However, my biggest complaint is that, once again, I couldn’t taste any alcohol (I promise I’m not an alcoholic! lol). I just wish that the moonshine would have pulled through more, since that was what I was most excited to try, but overall a really good-tasting drink!

2. La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy

-Fleur de Lys- $10.75

Okay, now we’re getting to the good stuff! This drink is by far one of my faves! The Frozen Slushy from France is offered at every Epcot festival, with the flavors changing at each fest. The flavor for this year’s Flower and Garden Festival is a mixture of Vodka, Grey Goose Orange, St. Germain Liquor, and White and Red Cranberry Juice. So basically this pink drink is just as delicious as it is beautiful! For me, this is the perfect balance of sweetness and alcohol! I will continue to get the Frozen Slushies from France at every single festival!

1. Rose Margarita

-Jardin de Fiestas- $11.50

And my #1 FAVORITE DRINK from the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is the Rose Margarita!! This drink is not for the faint of heart, because it is STRONG! You can definitely taste the tequila as well as the sweetness. As my friend Alex put it, “It tastes like a flower and tequila had a baby”. Couldn’t have said it any better myself! Highly recommend!

Well there you have it! The best drinks from the Flower and Garden Festival! Let me know if you agree with the ratings or have any other suggestions of drinks for me to try! Also, be sure to check out my video from the festival where you can watch me drink, sing, and be the queen of butterflies!

Thanks so much for reading & until next time,

XO, Chelsey
