To quote Webster’s New Millenium Dictionary, a fashionista is “a person working in or deeply involved with the high-fashion industry, such as a designer, model, photographer, buyer, writer, wearer; a devotee to clothing fashion.” Now, I may not work in high-fashion, but in my years in Retail, Media, and Sales, I have worked with high-end designers and companies like Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Heatherette, Paul Mitchell, and L’ Occitane. It doesn’t take a designer to know what works and what doesn’t.
I am a proponent of personal style and believe it is inside all of us to be able to express who we are through our own glamour.
Some of my own personal style icons, then and now:
Who are some of the people that inspire you? Write in and tell me!
