Erin Wasson‘s first ever collection for sportswear label RVCA debuted today with such huge stars as Gossip Girl‘s Taylor Momsen in attendance.
Let me start by saying I am Jewish, but I loved the big crosses and punky layered chains. Accessories aside, I enjoyed the draped layers, deep bronzes, stripes and polka dots.
However, the type tees were a little overdone. I find that every girl will now wear liquid black leggings and a white tee; they’re essentially the modern day jeans and a t-shirt. Ho hum.
I could have done without the Monokini-style romper (and the guy waving the plastic garbage bag in the live band), but I know who will be rocking that come Spring (someone get Katy Perry‘s stylist on the phone).
Other hits (if any) include the washed asymmetrical cornflower bat wing shirt and the flowing admiral blue silk dyed robe.
